Caboodle Books is a tiny independent publisher, working within its school event company Authors Abroad. Many authors working for Authors Abroad thought that they’d like to have more control over their books and so asked the CEO of Authors Abroad whether he’d consider publishing them, so Caboodle Books was born.

In recent years, key titles of note have been Island written by award winning author Nicky Singer and illustrated by children’s laureate Chris Riddell plus Karl Nova’s Rhythm and Poetry which won the 2018 best poetry book of the year awarded by CLiPPA (Centre for Literacy in Primary Poetry Award) which is the only award in the UK for published children’s poetry.
