The number of publishers and imprints MMS represents continues to grow; currently standing at more than thirty publishers/imprints in UK and export markets. Each publisher is selected for its excellent range of books and the diverse range of selected publishers work extremely well together giving our sales teams titles to suit every customer.

In the UK, MMS has a strong experienced trade and special sales team meeting wholesalers, school and library suppliers, as well as independent bookshops on a regular basis. MMS also has a team of educational consultants going into schools up and down the country. In export markets, MMS works with great sales agents and distributors to ensure its publishers’ books appear all around the world.

Alanna Max

Alanna Max is an independent publisher passionate about children’s books and they believe everyone loves a good story! However, some children struggle to find books in which they see themselves and their experiences. So they aim to produce stories that are naturally inclusive of a wide range of people and experiences – so ALL children can enjoy them. Most of all, however, they believe that deep down, we are far more alike than we are different … and that everyone loves a good story! MMS is delighted to be representing Alanna Max around the world (except USA) from the beginning of April 2020. Welcome back!

Caboodle Books is a tiny independent publisher, working within its school event company Authors Abroad. Many authors working for Authors Abroad thought that they’d like to have more control over their books and so asked the CEO of Authors Abroad whether he’d consider publishing them, so Caboodle Books was born. In recent years, key titles of note have been Island written by award winning author Nicky Singer and illustrated by children’s laureate Chris Riddell plus Karl Nova’s Rhythm and Poetry which won the 2018 best poetry book of the year awarded by CLiPPA (Centre for Literacy in Primary Poetry Award) which is the only award in the UK for published children’s poetry.
